Video footage from the night Biggie was murdered

While I was doing a little bit of research, I came across this video on YouTube. Someone was videotaping the Suburbans Biggie and Diddy were in while they were pulling away from the building. You can hear the gun shots ring out and the confusion that follows. Check it out it's kind of eerie.

Top 5 Greatest MCs of All-Time

What up people!!!

Alright, over here at The Urban Advocate, we want to start this list called T.U.A.s TOP 5! This list will rank some of the most argued lists in urban culture. The first list up the, Top 5 Greatest MCs of All-Time:

5. Nas- The Queensbridge poet has been putting it down since he first appeared on "Live at the Barbecue" back in 1991. Nas is has been able to maintain his stature as the consious voice of the streets since his 1994 classic debut album, Illmatic. Nas will go down in history as one of the most articulate rappers in history.

4. Rakim- The God MC! Rakim was first introduced 1986; and many say the game had to change directions around Rakim. He is hailed as the best lyrical MC in history. Without him, the other rappers this list arguably might not have had a career. Rakim is your favorite rapper's favorite rapper. Everybody follows the leader!

3. Notorious B.I.G.- Some people say he was the greatest. Biggie painted pictures when he rhymed. Biggie is to hip-hop music what John Singleton is to the movie game. His vivid lyrics about what he seen growing up as a drug dealer in Brooklyn. B.I.G. made more of an impact on the game in 3 years than most rappers make in 15 years. His impact was so great, he was the first MC to have a bio-pic hit the big-screen. He is an icon and one of the most revered rappers ever.

2. Tupac Skakur- Tupac's is undoubtedly a true hip-hop icon. As one of the single most important yet controversial figures of our time, Tupac was the voice of the youth throughout the 90s. Pac was able to make his audience feel his words by delivering songs with raw emotion. He was poetic, inrtospective, revolutionary and one of the most influential rappers ever. He made squares want to become thugs and thugs want to become rappers. He is even more powerful now after his death, than he was when he was still walking among us. Through his words and countless number of imitators, Pac's spirit continues to live on.

1. Jay-Z- H.O.V.A! Hov embodies what a rapper is. His contributions to hip-hop is insurmountable. Some people might disagree with this choice but to those people I say this...name a single rapper who has made more of an impact on hip-hop as whole than Jigga! Since his rise to stardom in the late 90s, Jay carried the game on his back for more than 5 years. Most of the rappers in the business looked to the man before they made their next move. Rakim was the leader of the Old School, Jay is the leader of the New School. Jay is easily one of the most consistent rappers ever. He's kicked open plenty of doors for the culture and is arguably the single most important rapper since the death of Biggie Smalls. Throw ya Diamonds up on this one!

Now this list is not set in stone and can be argued. If you feel your Top 5 list is better, feel free to share! This is just T.U.A.'s opinion when measured each MCs value, contributions and impact to hip-hop music.
