On March 9th, 1997, Brooklyn-MC Notorious B.I.G. was slain after leaving a party in Los Angeles, California. Christopher Wallace is hailed as being one of the greatest rappers to pick up the microphone, though, his career was cut short. I won't waste time dwelling on his death, or even talk about a bunch of facts that have been regurgitated million times before...I rather take this time to celebrate his music and the memories he left us with. Here is a video of a tribute from P. Diddy and Snoop Dogg at the MTV Awards a few years ago. It has to be one of the best on-stage tributes for Biggy I've seen in recent memory.
