On Friday, May 17, 2013, The Urban Advocate was among those who were invited to be apart of an exclusive performance by singer/songwriter/actor Ne-yo, presented by Malibu Red. Aside from Ne-yo's great performance, the crowd was also introduced to the newest artists on Compound Entertainment, Trevor Wesley and Candice.
