A South Carolina mother dumps newborn in a trash can

"Pac is gone and Brenda still throwin' babies in the garbage." When Game said that on his hit record "Hate it or Love it", a lot of people just thought it was a slick line. But, in reality, Game was on point. Recently, a South Carolina mother was arrested for this exact thing. WYFF 4 has more on the story:

A Greenville woman has been charged with attempted murder and unlawful neglect of a child after police said she left her newborn baby in a trash can.

Sharon Ferguson was taken into custody Monday afternoon.

Public information officer Johnathan Bragg said officers responded to a home on Chaney Street in the Nicholtown community around 4:30 Monday afternoon

Bragg said the owner of the rental home was doing maintenance when he noticed blood outside the trash can. When he looked inside, he saw the infant.

Bragg says the baby boy is alive and rescue crews worked on him at the scene before transporting him to a hospital. Police said he is in stable condition.

Neighbor Ouida Neasley said, "I was upset. I saw the baby after they had pulled it out of the trash can and the fire department got here and I saw that the baby was moving."

According to police warrants, Ferguson told investigators that on or about April 21 she gave birth to the baby, and placed him in a plastic grocery bag and wrapped him in a pink blanket. She then put the child into a trash can in the backyard and willfully abandoned him.

White Supremacists put messages in kids Easter Eggs

I'll save my thoughts on Easter for another day. But, how in the world does anyone find that a child's Easter Egg hunt is the proper place to spread their hatred, is beyond me. But some White supremacists found a way to ruin an Easter Egg hunt in Virginia. Hip Hop Wired reports:

The tradition of the Easter egg hunt was upended in shocking fashion when a family discovered some plastic eggs filled with racist propaganda.

The incident took place in a section of Henrico County, Va., not far from the state capital of Richmond. Brandon and Jackie Smith were in the midst of doing the egg hunt with their 3-year-old when they noticed some of the plastic eggs differed from the ones they placed on their lawn. Upon opening the egg, the Smith family was assaulted with messages apparently crafted by the organizers of the failed White Man March.

"My husband noticed the last Easter egg and I knew it wasn't one that put out. We opened it and it's got the white supremacist stuff in it,” said Mrs. Smith to local ABC affiliate WRIC.

Inside the egg the small printed message read, "Diversity = white genocide" and "Mass immigration and forced assimilation of non-whites into our lands is genocide”– slogans that have been shared across social media by participants of the White Man March.

Mr. Smith, who called the act “absurd,” traveled to other homes in the College Hill neighborhood and informed parents about what they encountered. The Smith family said that their nearby neighbors' lawns were also peppered by the racist Easter eggs.

"We don't want other kids around here who can read being like, 'Hey mommy what's the million man white march or what's the genocide project?' Most of us don't want to explain genocide to our 6-year-olds," added Mrs. Smith.

The Smith family, who are white, spoke for their entire neighborhood in expressing their outrage regarding the incident.

"Everybody's shocked. We are genuinely floored. Why would somebody do this? Why here?" said Mrs. Smith.

Henrico Police are investigating the matter, and may press littering or trespassing charges. White Man March organizers have yet to claim any involvement in the racist Easter egg fiasco.

Wisconsin man kills his nagging wife

Let this be a lesson to all the women out there that think it won't get real behind all that complaining and nagging. Apparently this old head Jack Lang in Wisconsin reach had enough! Hip Hop Wired reports:

The 77, year-old called 911 last Wednesday (April 16) after he shot June Lang -- his wife of 56 years-- in the face, then failed at trying to kill himself. The wife's body was found next to the couple's bed, police said.

Jack told police that Mrs. Lang had been nagging him for weeks and "wouldn't shut up."

The day that he "lost it," Jack and June were on their way to lunch. He wasn't feeling well at the time and told authorities that she called him names like "baby," and was basically "giving him hell" because he wanted to go home. She had also been criticizing him for not being able to "give her a good time anymore," and because he needed help doing things around the house (likely because he's old).

When the couple returned home, Jack grabbed a .22 caliber pistol from another room, and walked into the bedroom where Mrs. Lang was in bed. He told her that he had a gun, but she didn't believe him and kept on complaining. So, he shot her.

He also tried to shoot himself three times, but was unsuccessful (karma). He now faces life in prison.

Brooklyn teen shot at Footlocker over new "Yeezy" Foamposites

I'm sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but these shoes are neither worth shooting someone over, nor are they worth getting shot over. But, low and behold, someone did both in Brooklyn. The New York Daily News reports:

The victim, identified by friends as Isaiah Martinez, was shot early Saturday as he tried to buy a pair of Kanye West-designed sneakers from a Brooklyn Foot Locker, cops and witnesses said.

Martinez apparently cut a long line of eager customers looking to buy the new Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Yeezy” sneakers moments before the 6 a.m. shooting outside the Knickerbocker Ave. store, near Stanhope St., in Bushwick.

“There were people camped out for the sneakers and Isaiah tried to cut the line,” said Edison Cartagena, 21, who described himself as a Martinez pal.

Those patiently waiting for their chance to buy the $250 sneakers at 8 a.m. were outraged by Martinez's move and demanded he go to the back of the line, said Cartagena, who works at a nearby clothing store.

Legendary Boxer passes away at 76

For the past couple of years it has seemed to be a little ironic that not too long after being featured on a BET or TVOne special, our elder statesmen leave us. Hurricane Carter, who was portrayed by Denzel Washington the film about his life story, passed away in his sleep Sunday. ESPN reports:

John Artis, a longtime friend and caregiver, told The Canadian Press that Carter died in his sleep Sunday. Carter had been stricken with prostate cancer in Toronto, the New Jersey native's adopted home.

Rubin "Hurricane" Carter was 27-12-1 with 19 knockouts before being wrongfully convicted for murder in 1967 and again in 1976 before being freed in 1985.

Carter spent 19 years in prison for three murders at a tavern in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1966. He was convicted alongside Artis in 1967 and again in a new trial in 1976.

Carter was freed in November 1985 when his convictions were set aside after years of appeals and public advocacy. His ordeal and the alleged racial motivations behind it were publicized in Bob Dylan's 1975 song "Hurricane,'' several books and a 1999 film starring Denzel Washington, who received an Academy Award nomination for playing the boxer turned prisoner.

Carter's murder convictions abruptly ended the boxing career of a former petty criminal who became an undersized middleweight contender largely on ferocity and punching power.

Nas partners with Google and Microsoft to offer technology scholarships

Major salute to the O.G. Nas, who is having a great 2014 so far. Landmark performances at Coachella, the release of the 20th Anniversary album for Illmatic, opening shoe stores...I mean 20 years in the game and Nas is definitely living up to his legendary status. Now he's partnering with two tech giants to offer scholarships for graduates. The General Assembly reports:

Tech has a serious diversity problem — so General Assembly (GA), the New York City private vocational school for programming and engineering, is now opening an “Opportunity Fund” to give scholarships to women, veterans, African-Americans and Latinos.

The first contributors to the fund are Google, Microsoft, Hirepurpose and Nas.

Yes, rapper and recording artist Nas, the man who brought us “Illmatic.” The partnership with Nas began when he met GA co-founder Matt Brimer at SXSW, but Nas isn't the only media figure to approach GA about these kinds of programs.

Each of the donors is taking on a target demographic. Google will provide scholarship money for women, Hirepurpose and Microsoft will fund veterans and Nas's QueensBridge Venture Partners will sponsor African-Americans and Latinos.

X-Men director accused of attending Hollywood "parties" with underaged boys

Does anyone else find it a little ironic that Mr. Singer is dressed as a Catholic priest in this picture and now he's facing allegations of engaging in sexual activity with under aged boys? Just me? Okay. Anyway, no one who is familiar with the entertainment industry is surprised by this story, because we've been hearing about them for years. But it is a little surprising that the story is now mainstream news. TMZ has more on the story:

Michael Egan, who just sued "X-Men" director Bryan Singer for allegedly sexually assaulting him when he was a minor, says he complained to the LAPD that he was repeatedly sodomized at Hollywood parties by various moguls ... but no action was taken.

Egan says he and other minors were passed around like pieces of meat at sex parties, and he claims Singer was not alone.

Egan says his mother went to the FBI and LAPD back in 2000 and he was even interviewed ... he has no idea what happened.

Egan says he sued 2 men who he claims molested him at parties back in 2000, but Singer was NOT named. Egan's current lawyer, Jeff Herman, doesn't know why his client's former lawyer did not sue the "X-Men" director.

The home where the sexually-charged pool parties allegedly occurred was in Encino. It used to be owned by Suge Knight, who sold it Marc Collins-Rector. Suge is not involved in the case, but Egan says Collins-Rector was one of the main perps.

Egan says other minors were also abused, and Herman vows to file 3 or 4 more lawsuits against the alleged perps by next Thursday.

Egan went on to say there was a "no swimsuit" rule in the pool, and he was raped numerous times by numerous individuals.

Ole Miss Frat Kicked Out After Hanging Noose On 1st Black Student's Statue

It's good to see this university reprimand the fraternity that blatantly disrespected the statue for the first Black student, James Meredith. Even though it wasn't the direct reason for the frat being shut down. There is no need for such hatred in the world. Hip Hop Wired has more on the disciplinary actions:

Back in February, members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity hung a noose around the neck of a statute erected in honor of the University of Mississippi's first Black student, James Meredith. The national headquarters of the fraternity announced Thursday that it will shut down the chapter at Ole Miss, and the legal futures of the three student suspects hangs in the air.

Along with placing the noose around Meredith's statue, a pre-2003 Georgia state flag which features the Confederate Flag was also placed across the statue as well. Although it appears that the defiling of the statue was the catalyst in removing the Ole Miss chapter, other issues with the fraternity have long been present.

The Associated Press reported in full on the matter, revealing that the Meredith noose hanging was not the main reason for the Sigma Phi Epsilon shut down at the school. In fact, there has been various reports such as underage drinking and rough hazing levied against the chapter.

"The closure is not a result of what happened with the Meredith statue, but the Meredith statue precipitated the intensive review of how they conduct business," said Danny Blanton, director of public relations at Ole Miss.

The students have not been charged with a crime, but the university intends to discipline the men. The FBI is still investigating the matter also.

The frat said it may apply to be reinstated at the college in the future.

Christ Bearer is allegedly not associated with Wu-Tang Clan

This has got to be the roughest past couple of weeks for Mr. Johnson. First, you cut off your own member, then you're no longer a member of the Wu? And if becoming a eunuch wasn't bad enough, you survive a suicide attempt and have to hear all the talk about it. Dag, son! Look call me cruel, but I say it may be for the best. Any man that thinks it's a good idea to get so high you chop off your own piece and jump from a two story balcony probably shouldn't be allowed to procreate. Hip Hop Wire has more on the story:

[Last] Wednesday morning (April 16), news of a Wu-Tang affiliated rapper who attempted suicide set the viral world ablaze. Today, the Wu-Tang Clan officially says rapper Christ Bearer, born Andre Johnson, who cut off his penis and then jumped off a balcony, is "not affiliated with the Wu-Tang Brand."

Christ Bearer, who was discovered as part of the duo Northstar by Wu-Tang producer RZA, released RZA Presents Northstar in 2004. He has also been associated with Wu-Tang spinoff, West Coast Killa Beez, and rocked the group's paraphernalia in his latest video below.

But to add insult to injury, the Wu made clear they no longer run in the same circles with said rapper. A now-deleted post on Wutangclan.com read, "Parental Advisory : Don't Believe The HYPE. This Mother F-cker Ain't Got Sh*t to do with The WUTANG Brand," according to Gawker.

Though the post has been deleted, the Wu-Tang blog is currently running a TMZ story about Johnson's alleged suicidal episode (insert side eyes).

Cause of Ultimate Warriors Death Has Been Released

The internet has been abuzz for the past couple of weeks since the death of recent WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Ultimate Warrior. Now, we all have answers as to what happened. Apparently, it was a heart attack according to recent reports. The Hollywood Reporter has more:

WWE star The Ultimate Warrior's death on April 8 was from "natural causes," according to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's office.

The wrestler, whose real name was James Hellwig, collapsed in Scottsdale, Ariz., while walking his wife to their car at a hotel and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. He was 54.

The official cause of death is "atherosclerotic/arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease," a representative from the medical examiner's office confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, and no further investigation is expected.

Former Grand Dragon of KKK Arrested For Kansas Jewish Center Murders

In the wake of Jewish Passover, apparently violent crimes increase against Jewish people increase. Especially now since Hitler's birthday is April 20, which ironically enough falls on Easter this year. So much evil in the world today. Hip Hop Wired has more on the former KKK leader who recently murdered those at Kansas Jewish Center:

A prominent former leader of the Ku Klux Klan and another white supremacist hate group was arrested Sunday for the murder of three people after shootings at two Jewish centers in Kansas. Frazier Glenn Miller was a former Grand Dragon of the KKK's Carolina Knights and also had an offshoot group known as the White Patriot Party.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which has past legal tussles with Miller, wrote about the 73-year-old man's arrest in detail. Miller, of Aurora, Mo., reportedly opened fired Sunday afternoon in Suburban Kansas at a pair of buildings that service the Jewish and broader communities that killed a doctor, his grandson, and an elderly woman. As he was arrested, Miller shouted racist insults in defiance.

Police reports say Miller began his assault in Overland Park around 1 p.m. after he shot a pair of people in a parking lot at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. He then traveled a few blocks to a Jewish retirement complex known as Village Shalom and gunned down the woman.

The family of the first two victims came forth and issued a statement that identified them Dr. William Lewis Corporon, who was killed at the center, and his 14-year-old grandson, Reat Griffin Underwood, who later died at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Dr. Corporon and his grandson were both Christian, according to the family statement.

Miller has been wanted by the law before and was the target of a nationwide manhunt in 1987 after violating his bond terms after his arrest on operating an illegal paramilitary camp in North Carolina. The SPLC also wrote that Miller used intimidation tactics against Blacks as well.

Miller was booked on charges of first degree murder at the Johnson County Jail in Kansas.

Utah mother kills her 6 babies

You know...I'm no longer asking why these mothers keep killing their children. Now, I'm wondering who in the world keeps procreating with these unstable creatures?! It takes 10 years for people to wonder what in the world happened to the 6 children this woman had? The Associated Press reports:

According to a probable cause statement released by police Monday, Megan Huntsman said that between 1996 and 2006, she gave birth to at least seven babies at her home and that all but one of them were born alive.

Huntsman is being held on $6 million bail — $1 million for each baby she's accused of killing. It wasn't immediately clear if she had an attorney.

Huntsman was arrested Sunday on six counts of murder after police found the infants' tiny bodies. A seventh baby found appears to have been stillborn, Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Buhman said.

Formal charges have not yet been filed against Huntsman and no other arrests have been made but Buhman said the investigation remains open.

Investigators were trying to determine if the seven babies had the same father or multiple fathers, Buhman said.

Police Capt. Michael Roberts said officers responded to a call from him Saturday about a dead infant, and then they found the six other bodies.

35 people shot in Chicago over the weekend

At this rate, Chicago is going to reach it's death toll for 2012 in no time. Entirely too many lives have been lost and it breaks my heart thinking about it. This past weekend, 35 people have been shot while 4 others have been killed. Hip Hop Wired reports:

Four people were fatally gunned down in Chicago, and 31 of 35 shot were injured during a weekend of violence in the Windy City. The shootings occurred from Friday (April 11) afternoon through Sunday (April 13) morning, mostly on the city's South Side.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the police responded to 26 separate shootings. The first of the fatalities occurred Friday at around 3:30 p.m., in the city's West Woodlawn area. Gakirah Barnes, 17, was shot in the upper body, and pronounced dead two hours later at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She was one of three people shot during the incident.

The remaining three fatal shootings occurred between Friday night, and early Sunday, two of which took place in Chicago's Washington Park and South Shore neighborhoods. Among the deceased is, 32-year-old Corey Brownlee, who was shot in the upper chest at around 2:40 a.m. Saturday. He died at a local hospital.

Another of the four fatalities was 20-year-old Joshua Martinez, who was shot in the head. His body was found on the 3000 block of West 53rd place, at around 1 a.m. Police say the shooting was gang-related. No arrests have been made, but authorities believe a "known offender" is responsible for killing Martinez.

Elsewhere in the city, two men --ages 23, and 25 -- were shot at 3:55 a.m. Both were members of the same gang, police said. The men were transported to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital, and are expected to survive.

Roughly 25 minutes earlier, two women were shot while sitting in a car. A gray van pulled up and opened fire on the 20 and 23-year-old women, hitting one in the neck and the other in the hand before driving off. In another incident a 27-year-old man was shot in both legs and has been hospitalized in stable condition.

Another man, 20, was shot in the stomach by a third party during an argument with his girlfriend. Additionally, a 31-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery, and a 22-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were both shot in the head in two separate incidents occurring Saturday.

Other victims include a 17-year-old boy shot in the back, and a 20-year-old woman shot in the chest at around 5:00 p.m. Saturday. Hours later, a 42-year-old man and woman were shot in the South Deering neighborhood. The two were shot just before midnight, with the woman getting hit in the leg, and the man sustaining a wound to his face. They were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center and listed in serious condition.

The eldest of the injured, appears to be a 57-year-old man, who was shot in the leg while in an alley. He was also taken to Advocate Christ hospital.

Weekend shooting sprees are nothing new to Chicago. In June 2013 46 people were shot, and nine were killed in one weekend. The next month, a whopping 74 people were shot over the 4th of July holiday weekend.

Pittsburgh student arrested for stabbing 21 classmates

There has been yet another violent outbreak took place this week in a Pennsylvania suburb. The incident left 21 students and a security guard stabbed. Hip Hop Wired reports:

Alex Hribal (pronounced "Ribal") was taken into custody on Wednesday after the shocking incident, and has been slapped with several attempted homicide and assault charges.

Hribal, 16, unleashed his slashing rampage yesterday morning wielding two knives according to the accounts of those on the ground at Franklin Regional High School in the town Murrysville. Several reports have been unveiled regarding the incident, and what is known is that Hribal stabbed 21 students and a security guard before an assistant principal tackled him.

Hribal was charged with four counts of attempted homicide, 21 counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possessing a weapon on school property. Hribal was treated for minor injuries at the scene of the crime, whisked away by police in a hospital gown.

According to a CNN report, Hribal was a quiet kid but well-liked by all the students. In fact, it appeared Hribal had a normal home life and there wasn't any evidence of bullying or anything of the sort.

Hillary Clinton dodges shoe assault in Vegas

I am a huge supporter of the Clinton clan. I have always said that Hillary Clinton is the epitome of a Ride-or-die chick! She proved it on Thursday by standing tall after someone threw something at her head while she was giving a speech. Hip Hop Wired reports:

Clinton was in Las Vegas as the guest speaker for the "Institute Of Scrap Recycling Industries" Convention at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino yesterday, April 10 when she spotted the jig and dodged a six-inch heel in slow motion like Trinity in The Matrix. Admittedly, it was a bit of bad aim but we'll let the potential next U.S. president remain the heroine here.

"What is that, a bat?," she asked the crowd. "Is someone throwing something at me? Is that part of Cirque Du Soleil?," she joked, making light of the situation.

According to ABC, U.S. Secret Service supervisory special agent Brian Spellacy said the woman was detained, questioned and will face unknown federal charges. A copy of a 1967 Department of Defense document and a black and orange shoe were also recovered from the scene.

"My goodness, I didn't know solid waste management was so controversial," the unintimidated politician continued. Neither did we, Mrs. Clinton.

10 killed in FedEx Bus crash in California

A fiery crash that took place in California Thursday afternoon has claimed the lives of 10 people while injuring more than 30 others. Hip Hip Wired reports:

A nightmarish bus collision with a FedEx truck in northern California has claimed the lives of 10 people, including both drivers and several high school students.

The crash also left 33 people injured in the midst of a fiery explosion and endless scrap metal of wreckage.

Students were in route to a Humboldt State University campus visit when things went awry around 5:30pm yesterday, April 10.

ABC News reports:

The accident happened on Interstate 5 near Orland, Glenn County, in the northern part of the state. The FedEx truck crossed into oncoming traffic, striking a northbound car before colliding with the bus, California Highway Patrol officials told ABC News.

Flames engulfed the bus and truck, sending thick plumes of black smoke upward, the vehicles reduced to charred husks.
