Rapper KMG of Above The Law passed away


Another West Coast rapper has passed away. Allhiphop reports:

Rapper KMG of West coast rap group has died according to multiple reports.

While the cause of death has yet to be revealed, friends of the rapper tweeted their condolences.

Above The Law got their start as an act on Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records, with their 1990 album Livin’ Like Hustlers.

They went on to release seven more albums, including Black Mafia Life and Uncle Sam’s Curse, two albums credited with pioneering the “G-Funk” sound.

After Eazy’s death Above The Law was signed to Tommy Boy and Death Row Records.
