Hilary Clinton released from the hospital

Everyone's favorite "Ryde or Die" chick, Hilary Clinton, has finally left the hospital after a 3 day stay. Hip Hop Wired reports:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was released from New York City's Presbyterian Hospital  Wednesday (Jan. 2) after three days of treatment for a blood clot. Clinton left alongside her daughter Chelsea , and husband, President Bill Clinton.

“Her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident she will make a full recovery,” read a statement released by Clinton aide, Phillippe Reines. “She's eager to get back to the office, and we will keep you updated on her schedule as it becomes clearer in the coming days.”

Clinton was admitted to the hospital in New Year's Eve after doctors found a blood clot near her brain. The 65-year-old was visiting the doctor for a check-up following a bout with a stomach virus which led to her fainting and suffering a concussion.

The State Department would not reveal the location of Clinton's clot when she was originally taken to the hospital. According to doctors Gigi El-Bayoumi of George Washington University, and Lisa Bardack of the Mount Kisco Medical Group, the clot did not cause any neurological damage.

She is being treated with blood thinning medication.

As of now it is unclear when Clinton will return to her post, as she winds down her tenure of secretary of state. Sen. John Kerry has been named as her replacement.
