The Urban Advocate Salutes Nate Dogg

Photobucket

On March 15th, Hip-Hop lost another legend, Hip-Hop crooner, Nate Dogg. Nate Dogg has had a career unlike any other. He has worked with almost every major artist in rap including, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Tupac Shakur, Fabolous, Mos Def, Jadakiss, Ludacris, Ice Cube and 50 Cent to name a few. Nate's distinctive voice and unique style made him one of the most sought after collaborators throughout the earlier years of the millennium. But after suffering two strokes (one in 2007 and another in 2008), Nate Dogg's health began to deteriorate. His contributions to hip-hop music are unprecedented and will never be matched. His voice and his presence will be missed. To quote Mack 10,"It ain't a hit 'til Nate Dogg spit!"
