LAPD shooting innocent people in Christoper Dorner manhunt

Given the history of the LAPD, it's no surprise that this Christopher Dorner thing was only going to result in more bloodshed. Now, two innocent women have been shot in their efforts to locate the former officer. Hip Hop Wired reports:

The LAPD is still searching for  former officer Christopher Dorner, and has been shooting innocent people in the process. Two women in Torrance, Calif. were shot late last week, during the height of the massive manhunt, kicked off by Dorner shooting the daughter of an ex-LAPD police chief and her fiancĂ©.

Officers believed that the blue pickup truck the women were riding in, matched that of Dorner's and riddled the vehicle with bullets. One of the women was shot in the hand, while the other was hit in the back. Both were taken to hospitals and have not had their identities revealed.

Also in Torrance, a second shooting took place at 5:45 a.m., but no one was injured.

As Dorner remains on the run, police have announced a $1 million reward, money of which was pooled from donors in law enforcement, government, businesses, and individuals. “This is the largest local reward ever offered, to our knowledge,” said Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck. “This is an act of domestic terrorism. This is a man who has targeted those that we entrust to protect the public. His actions cannot go unanswered.”

On Sunday night a Lowe's home improvement store was evacuated due to a potential citing of the former Navy reservist. Helicopters swarmed over the parking lot, blocking customers from leaving. Gus Villanueva, spokesman for the LAPD, said the extreme measures were necessary, but did not confirm if Dorner was anywhere near the location.

Dorner released a manifesto explaining why the killings are “necessary.”  He cited his firing from the department for speaking out against racism and brutality, as his breaking point.  Authorities have since announced that they will look deeper into why he was let go.
