Beastie Boys to be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame

Old school hip-hop group Beastie Boys are on their way to be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. AllHipHop reports:

The legendary rap trio, which began their recording career on Def Jam Recordings, will be inducted along with a number of other famous groups.

In addition to The Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N’ Roses, Laura Nyro, The Small Faces, Cosimo Matassa, Don Kirshner, Freddie King, Donovan, Glyn Johns and legendary engineer Tom Dowd are being inducted.

The ceremony is set to take place in Cleveland on April 14, 2012.
